Camping Le Vieux Port offers you a unique opportunity to experience a new way of riding. Thanks to our Vieux Port Surfing Wave, you'll be able to ride endless waves in complete safety on our wave simulator. No need to check the waves in the ocean or learn about the complex science of tides! At Le Vieux Port campsite you can surf at any time of day. And what's more, you'll have the privilege of trying out a unique and unprecedented attraction at a 5-star campsite in France.

To satisfy all lovers of rides and new challenges, we wanted to open up the field of possibilities as much as possible. You can choose the activity that suits you best from surfing, bodyboarding, towed buoys, wakeboarding and kneeboarding. With slopes that vary according to the sport you choose, there's something for everyone. Suitable for everyone, our 4 slopes can accommodate both novices and experts.

Accessible to children aged 3 and over for the buoys, you can enjoy pure moments of complicity with your family. For intermediate and experienced surfers, surfing and bodyboarding are available from the age of 13 for surfing and 8 for bodyboarding, giving you the chance to challenge the youngest and see if experience is more tenacious on the waves than youth!

Our wave simulator is reserved for campsite guests only.

Access to the Vieux Port Surfing Wave activities:

  • Wakeboard or kneeboard from 3 years and over 15kg :
    Towed activity to be chosen on site - Beginner to advanced level.
  • Towed buoy from 3 years and + 15kg:
    Towed activity - Beginner to advanced level.
  • Bodyboard from 8 years and + 40kg:
    Towed or non-towed activity (your choice) - Intermediate to advanced level.
  • Surfing from age 13 and over 40kg:
    Towed or non-towed activity (your choice) - Intermediate to advanced level.

> The surf machine has 4 independent lanes and can therefore accommodate 4 people at a time.
> Towed activities are available in "Discovery" format (no slope).
> Surfing and bodyboarding activities are available in "Discovery" (no slope) or "Sensation" (slope) formats.

It's up to you whether you want to try your hand on a gentle wave with our 'Discovery' package or whether you're ready to venture out on a steep wave with our 'Sensation' package.

1/ Take advantage of a package offer when you book your holiday

Discover all the Vieux Port Surfing Wave packs and add your sessions on our wave simulator when you book with our Packages. To add a session on our wave simulator, simply proceed as follows:

  1. I choose my dates of stay for a seaside holiday at the 5-star Le Vieux Port campsite in Messanges in the Landes.
     
  2. I find my holiday rental or my pitch that suits my tastes (and there's something for everyone!)
     
  3. I select my session on the La Vieux Port Surfing Wave simulator from all our Packages, when I confirm my holiday booking.
     
  4. I pack my bags and count the days until I arrive for my holiday at camping Le Vieux Port 🏄
