What is the maximum number of people that can stay in Le Vieux Port accommodation?

Each accommodation at Le Vieux Port has different capacities. To make sure that the accommodation you choose matches your wishes and needs, you can find the maximum number of people authorised for each property on its detailed sheet. Please note that our holiday rentals can accommodate up to 10 people.

Is it possible to add a tent to the rental pitch?

We have included a special package if you wish to pitch a tent next to your mobile home. a tent next to your mobile home. So at the 5-star Le Vieux Port campsite, you are free to add a tent to your rental plot (except for rentals in the Premium Quarter and within the limit of the number of occupants authorised for the rental).

Are pets allowed?

For reasons of hygiene and out of respect for all travellers, the accommodation at our Le Vieux Port campsite unfortunately does not allow pets. Only our pitches for tents, caravans, motorhomes and vans are suitable for pets.

Can I park on my rental pitch?

In addition to a large shaded car park available for your arrival at the entrance to our Le Vieux Port campsite, you can of course park your car directly on your pitch during your stay. To offer you optimum comfort and for the safety of our youngest guests, we authorise and include parking for one vehicle only on your pitch. However, if there is enough space on your pitch, you can park an additional vehicle next to your rental pitch for an extra charge. your rental. As long as this does not hinder traffic in the campsite.

Is it possible to park a trailer or caravan on a rental pitch?

To make it easier for you to park your vehicles and to move around our campsite, trailers are permitted on your rental plot, as long as they do not obstruct the public highway. For a caravan, on the other hand, our car park near Reception is the best place to park it without hindrance.

Is WiFi available on all pitches and in all accommodation?

WiFi access is available throughout Le Vieux Port campsite. Depending on your booking, this service may be included in your reservation. For all stays booked via our website: www.levieuxport.com or via our central booking office: www.resasol.coma free WiFi connection is included!

Do I need to bring my own sheets for a rental?

At Le Vieux Port campsite in Messanges in the Landes, we offer you a holiday without constraints. We have therefore created for you accommodation kits to make your holiday as comfortable as possible, and reduce the logistical burden. A service that lets you choose the options that suit you, from sheet hire to towels and even baby equipment.

Is there a water point on each pitch?

There are water points on pitches for tents, caravans, motorhomes and vans. These water points are shared between several pitches.

Is there a children's club at camping Le Vieux Port?

What is the aquatic area like at camping Le Vieux Port?

Our Pirate's Land water park has been completely redesigned to immerse you in the world of piracy! Our water park has been extended to include 5 temperate pools, 11 slides, a wave simulator: our Vieux Port Surfing Wave (unique in a 5-star campsite in France), an Aquasplash and 2 jacuzzis. Enough to keep you entertained throughout your holiday!

How do I access the aquatic area at camping Le Vieux Port?

Only residents of our Le Vieux Port campsite are allowed access to the Pirate's Land water park. Your wristband received at Reception when you arrive at the campsite will give you access to our water park. Please note that access is controlled at the entrance gate to the water park.

Do I have to clean up before I leave?

At the end of your stay with us, we ask you to leave your holiday accommodation clean. You can do this yourself. Or for those of you who want to relax until the last second, take a look at all our our cleaning packages. There's something for everyone!

What facilities are available free of charge on site?

Our 5-star Le Vieux Port campsite offers a whole range of leisure activities and almost endless fun! You'll be able to enjoy free access to our sports activities in our fitness area, our children's and teenagers' clubs, our play area, our concerts, shows, cabarets and themed evenings in our Arena auditorium, and of course our completely refurbished water park with its 11 slides, 5 heated pools, an Aquasplash and 2 jacuzzis.

And for even more fun, we also offer a whole range of additional options: the only wave simulator in a 5* campsite in Franceon-site on-site restaurants and bars, half-board, full board, osteopathic practice directly on the campsite, carwash, laundry, surf lessons, bike hireetc.

Is there a shopping area near the campsite?

At the 5-star Le Vieux Port campsite, we've thought of everything to make your holiday easier! If you want to do your shopping, you'll find everything you need right on site. There's a market several times a week, right on the campsite's Place du Village. You'll also find a supermarket with a bread and pastries depot within our 5-star campsite. And to top it all off, we've worked out a system for delivering your shopping directly to your pitch!

Are there any activities to discover in the vicinity of the campsite?

At the 5-star Le Vieux Port campsite, we want our guests to discover our magnificent Landes region. Our RESASOL agency will be able to advise you better than anyone else and book the best activities for you. book the best activities for you to immerse yourself in the Landes way of life, in the traditions and favourite activities of the locals. And if you like to explore, we also suggest you venture into the Basque Country, just 1 hour from Le Vieux Port campsite, with Spain just around the corner.

Are swimming shorts allowed in the pool area?

Our Pirate's Land water park is a unique place to bring young and old together. So to make it easier to go crazy down our slides, swim laps in our pools and relax in our jacuzzis, come and have fun in your swimming costume. Boxer shorts and swimming trunks are permitted, but shorts are not.

Is the pool area supervised?

For everyone's safety, our water park is supervised by our team of state-qualified lifeguards. A safe area for safe swimming!

Is the water park open to people not staying at the campsite? Are day passes available for access to the water park?

For safety reasons, only residents of Le Vieux Port campsite are allowed access to the Pirate's Land water park. A check is carried out at the entrance to the park, using the bracelets received for your stay, when you move in to our pitches or one of our mobile homes.

What types of catering are available at the campsite?

At Le Vieux Port campsite, we aim to cater for all tastes and expectations. So you'll find a whole range of restaurants on site: brasserie, fast food, grill, bodega atmosphere, wine bar, pizzeria... There's something for everyone!

Our 5-star Le Vieux Port campsite allows all sports enthusiasts to pursue their passions, even on holiday! You'll find tennis courtsYou'll find tennis courts, a bowling green, a city stadium for playing basketball or football, a beach volleyball court, a beach soccer field and a football pitch, badminton, ping-pong tables and even a skatepark. And for WOD enthusiasts, there's an open-air bodybuilding and outdoor fitness is available at our Le Vieux Port campsite. So there's no end to the fun!

Do you hire sports equipment?

To make life easier during your holiday, in July/August we hire tennis and table tennis rackets directly from Reception at our Le Vieux Port campsite.

Do you hire bikes on site?

You can hire your bikes directly from the campsite so that you can get around without a hitch during the summer in the Landes. Our bike hire company is open 7 days a week from April to September. Find out all about and booking information directly on our website.

Which is the nearest beach?

The location of our Le Vieux Port campsite is idyllic. Enjoy direct access to the south beach at Messanges. The supervised beaches of Vieux-Boucau are just 2 km south of our campsite. And for wave lovers, the unmissable surf spots of Hossegor are just fifteen kilometres from our Le Vieux Port campsite.

How do I gain access to the campsite?

If you wish to enter our Le Vieux Port campsite with your vehicle, a system for reading your number plate is in place at the entrance, at the barriers. For pedestrian access, a wristband will be given to you at Reception on your first day. This will allow you to pass through all the controls without any hindrance.

How do I get to Le Vieux Port from the airport or station?

You can reach our Le Vieux Port campsite from: BiarritzBiarritz airport is about 60 km away, PauPau airport airport is about 100 km away orBordeaux airport is around 150 km away.

If you wish to arrive by train, the nearest station is Dax, 35 km away. Bayonne and Biarritz stations are 43 km and 54 km away respectively.

How do I get to camping Le Vieux Port?

Whether you're coming from Biarritz, Pau or Bordeaux airport, it's easy to get straight to camping Le Vieux Port! Are there transport services on site?

You'll find all the amenities directly on site. However, if you want to get around our Le Vieux Port campsite, there are several options available. Visit the YEGO bus network network to explore the beaches and the Landes coast. If you want to explore the inland areas a little further, there's the RDTL bus network bus network. And if you prefer to take a taxi, there are several companies around the Le Vieux Port campsite.

Is there a charging point for my electric car at camping Le Vieux Port?

With more and more travellers using electric vehicles, our Le Vieux Port campsite has set up a charging point with two charge points for your electric car batteries. A 5-star green service!

What are the closing times for the gates at the campsite entrance?

To respect the rest of all travellers, the gates at the entrance to our Le Vieux Port campsite close at 11pm in the evening and reopen at 6am the following morning.

Is it possible to leave the car at the campsite after check-out?

Once you have checked out of your holiday rental or pitch, we ask you not to park in the campsite. However, if you wish, you can leave your vehicle parked in our outside car park.

What do I need to present on arrival / how do I check in?

When you arrive, please go to Reception. Our team will welcome you for the formalities of your stay and explain the organisation and activities at our Le Vieux Port campsite. You will also be asked to provide your full name, date of birth and vehicle registration number to complete your booking form.

What should I do if I arrive late?

For those who have a long journey or think they might arrive late on the first day, don't worry! Our reception is open until 7pm in low season and 8.30pm in high season. After that, our night team will take over and will be there to show you to your pitch or give you the keys to your accommodation. The next morning, you can go to Reception to finalise your booking and collect your wristbands, the key to your holiday.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

To welcome you in the best conditions, arrivals are possible from 4pm. On the last day, you will have until 10am to hand in the keys to your accommodation or leave your pitch. For standard and comfort pitches, arrivals and departures are by 12 noon.

Is it possible to have a Late Check-Out on the last day?

In order to ensure a smooth transition between your stay and that of the next holidaymakers, we do not authorise late check-outs or departures, either for rental accommodation or for pitches.

What is a tourist tax?

Communes with a tourist vocation may ask you to pay a tax when you go on holiday in their area. Tourist tax is payable per person per night. The amount is set by the local council and varies according to the type and classification of accommodation.
