Messanges is a seaside resort on the Atlantic coast where you'll find our 5-star campsite just a stone’s throw from the beach. All our accommodation and pitches are located in a pine forest, a precious asset. We are determined to preserve this outstanding natural landscape by keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum, especially when it comes to the buildings which are mostly constructed with timber and blend into the surroundings without spoiling the natural decor. We also put every effort into encouraging holidaymakers to use the recycling bins in order to reduce waste. Our campsite complies with strict rules to reduce our environmental impact and meet a whole list of precise certification criteria. We are also mindful of the equipment we purchase and install, systematically aiming for maximum durability and low-consumption appliances and lighting. Fifty per cent of the campsite’s energy consumption comes from renewable sources, notably solar panels which are used to heat the water supplied to some of the sanitary blocks. The restriction of our use of chemical substances starts at the purchasing stage. We strictly monitor quantities and make sure related waste is properly disposed of via the regulatory recycling channels.

At last you can enjoy the palette of colours offered by the setting sun, the ebb and flow of the waves breaking at your feet and the feel of the fine sand... The ideal location of Le Vieux Port campsite means you don’t need your car to get to the beach which is just a short walk or bike ride away directly from the campsite! Our staff also use ecofriendly ways of getting around the campsite, such as electric buggies that reduce our carbon footprint as well as keeping the noise down.

At our 5-star camping village resort & spa, you’ll also find all the services and facilities you need for an ecofriendly holiday you’ll never forget: a mini-market selling organic products, sanitary facilities with water heated by solar panels, and waymarked footpaths and cycle paths that criss-cross the campsite.

What does every luxury ecofriendly campsite need? A huge water park with a theme! Besides the large pitches available at our campsite, you’ll also find a 1,400 m² water park with 7 pools! Our outdoor pools are heated to 25°C while the indoor pool is at 28°C. The pools are maintained on a daily basis with chlorine doses kept to a minimum to ensure the water is both clean and safe. It’s the least we can do to guarantee you a luxurious holiday in an ecofriendly spirit. Through a pertinent choice of materials we have been able to recreate a natural setting for our water park with rocks and palm trees that blend harmoniously into the surroundings, and pirate ships to complete the exotic feel.
