It is a pleasure to stroll from groves to water basins, from parterres to boxwood embroidery and rigorously ordered beds of roses and rhododendrons, punctuated here and there by Florence cypresses, Japanese maples and other cloud-trimmed pittosporums. The French garden is in some ways reminiscent of the simplicity of English gardens. As for the château, a country house in the Louis XVI style, it was built in 1789 on the site of a former noble house. A visit that will enchant lovers of beautiful nature and old stones!
