The summer markets are back in the Landes!
What a pleasure it is to stroll through the markets when you are on holiday! In the Landes, they punctuate the week with warm and tasty events. From Monday to Sunday, here are the markets not to be missed this summer!

SUNDAY: SAINT-GIRONS BEACH MARKET
The Vielle-Saint-Girons market is always very popular with tourists. In the summer, this pretty seaside market offers a refreshing Sunday break: fruit and vegetables, regional products, but also clothing, jewellery, decoration and souvenirs. In total, more than 50 producers and traders unpack their stalls. Everything is there to brighten up Sunday mornings!
- Practical information: on Sunday mornings in July and August, from 8 am to 1 pm, Barcottes car park at Saint-Girons Plage.
MONDAY: THE MARKET IN SOUSTONS PLACE DES ARÈNES
Every Monday morning, nearly 120 producers and craftsmen of food, creamers, butchers, meet around the Arenas of Soustons. On the menu: fresh seasonal produce, foie gras, farmhouse duck, Tursan wines, Chalosse beef, cheeses... A diversity of flavours, smells and colours, to be tasted without moderation!
- Practical: every Monday morning, from 8 am to 1 pm, Place des Arènes in Soustons.
TUESDAY: THE MARKET OF MOLIETS
A stone's throw from the beach, Moliets proposes a small traditional market every Tuesday. It provides baskets of local produce and Landes specialities to tantalise the taste buds. You will find fruit and vegetables, wines, cheeses, honey, charcuterie, mainly from local producers. What a way to stroll, to eat fresh, local and greedy.
- Practical: on Tuesdays (but also on Thursdays) from mid-June to mid-September, from 8 am to 1 pm, place de la Bastide in Moliets-plage.
WEDNESDAY: THE MARKET OF VIEUX-BOUCAU
During the summer months, the Vieux-Boucau-les-Bains market takes place on the banks of the Moïsan canal. Every morning, it brings together a hundred or so stallholders: market gardeners, greengrocers, poultry sellers, pork butchers, cheese makers, bakers, fishmongers, etc. You can also find clothes, shoes, leather goods, fashion accessories to find the good deal.
- Practical: every day in summer (except Sunday), from mid-June to mid-September, from 8 am to 1 pm, along the Moïsan canal.
THURSDAY: THE MARKET OF SEIGNOSSE
On Thursdays, head for Seignosse, where one of the largest markets in the Landes is held. For the occasion, nearly 200 traders meet in the Penon district. On the stalls: regional products (cheeses, sausages, olives, empanadas...), but also textiles, bazaar, jewellery, crafts, decoration, holiday souvenirs. The prices are rather attractive.
- Practical: from 01/07 to 31/08, every Thursday morning (but also on Tuesday and Sunday), from 9 am to 1 pm, Penon district in Seignosse.
FRIDAY: THE MARKET OF MESSANGES
Just a stone's throw from the campsite, the Messanges market is a must for tourists and locals alike. All summer long, this small traditional market gathers every Friday about thirty Landes producers who come to offer their goods: varied and quality food products, clothing stands, crafts... Perfect to whet your appetite and stock up on provisions for the holidays!
- Practical: every Friday (but also on Wednesdays), from 8 am to 12.30 pm, school car park.
SATURDAY: THE MARKET IN CAPBRETON
The market of Capbreton is a reference for the inhabitants of the Landes, with very varied stands outside and under the covered halls. Regulars and holidaymakers meet in a happy and relaxed atmosphere. Nearly 150 producers, craftsmen and hawkers liven up the market place. Good value for money and a very local atmosphere make this market a must during your stay in the Landes!
- Practical information: on Saturdays (but also on Tuesdays), from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm, along the Allées Marines and under the covered halls of Capbreton.
